JEs with the source attached. Recurring, reversal, approval-routed.

Manual JEs carry the source document. Recurring JEs run on a schedule (monthly accruals, quarterly provisions). Reversals post next period automatically. Period-lock enforces; approval routing enforces material thresholds.

How it works

From JE template to posted, with the audit trail attached.

Step 01

Manual or template-driven

Direct manual JEs, recurring templates (rent accrual, depreciation, provision) and reversal entries are all first-class. Templates carry the GL coding, reason and supporting evidence.

Step 02

Approval routing where it matters

JEs above a configurable threshold route through an approver chain. Below threshold, they post directly with the trail.

Step 03

Period lock + reopen workflow

Once a period is locked, posting is blocked. Authorised users can request a reopen with reason; the reopen is captured in the audit trail.

Step 04

Reversal posts next period

Recurring reversal entries auto-post on the first day of the next period. Manual reversals are one-click from the original JE.

Compliance + integrations

Every JE on the record, with its 'why'.

Material JEs carry the source document, the approver chain and the reason. Audit trail is hash-chained per Rule 11(g). The CA reviewer has read access to JEs by period.

Regulations we work within

  • Rule 11(g), Companies Act

Append-only edit trail across the JE lifecycle.

  • Section 128, Companies Act

    8-year retention; period-locked entries preserved.

  • AS-1 / Ind-AS 1

Going-concern, accrual, materiality reflected at posting.

Journal Entries FAQ

What buyers ask.

Can we post recurring JEs (rent accrual, depreciation)?

Yes. Recurring JEs run on a schedule (monthly, quarterly, annual). The template carries the GL coding, dimensions and reason. Each posting is captured as a separate JE with its own audit trail. Reversal next period is built in.

How do we handle period-end reversal entries?

Mark the JE as 'reversal in next period' at posting; the reverse JE auto-posts on the first day of the next period. For one-off manual reversals, click 'reverse' on the source JE; the reverse posts with a link back.

Can we do mass upload of JEs?

Yes. CSV / Excel bulk upload is supported with line-level validation (GL exists, dimensions valid, balance condition met). Errors surface per row before posting.

What about intercompany JEs?

Intercompany JEs auto-create both sides (sender and receiver) with matching reference. Mismatches surface on a dashboard. Eliminations run at consolidation.

Post your next JE with the audit trail built in.

Connect one entity, free. Post a recurring rent accrual or a manual reversal. The trail, the approver chain and the reversal posting all run from one screen.
