What it does
Capabilities of the Zoho Books connector
-
OAuth + official API
Connect via OAuth in 60 seconds. Uses Zoho's official REST API (v3), no scraping, no fragile screen automation. Tokens auto-refreshed.
-
Bidirectional sync
Masters and transactions flow both ways. Edit a customer in either system and the other reflects within minutes. Conflicts surface for review.
-
Near real-time
Webhooks where Zoho supports them (invoices, payments). Polling fallback (5-minute) for everything else. Manual sync on demand.
-
India + global editions
Zoho Books India (with GST, TDS, e-invoicing fields) and global editions (US, UAE, UK, Canada, AU) all supported on the same connector.
-
Multi-organisation
Each Zoho organisation maps to a OneFinOps entity. Sync 1, 5 or 50 Zoho organisations to one OneFinOps account; group consolidation built in.
-
Audit trail
Every sync, every record, every conflict logged with user and timestamp. Exportable for auditor review.

Add the workflow Zoho Books doesn't ship.
Zoho Books is great books-of-account software. Where most teams hit a wall: bill approval workflows that route by amount + cost-centre, multi-entity GST reconciliation against GSTR-2B, real-time CFO dashboards across 5 entities, e-invoicing at scale. OneFinOps adds those on top of your existing Zoho, no migration.
- No data migration, connector goes live in 5 minutes
- Zoho Books remains books of account; Chartered Accountant view unchanged
- OneFinOps adds approvals, GSTR-2B reco, multi-entity rollup, e-invoicing at scale
- Two-way sync means you can use either UI for the same data

Zoho Books FAQ
What buyers ask
How do I connect Zoho Books?
Click "Connect Zoho Books" in OneFinOps integrations. You're redirected to Zoho's OAuth consent screen, authorise OneFinOps, and you're back. Choose which Zoho organisation to map to which OneFinOps entity. Initial sync runs in the background; live sync is on within a minute.
Does this work with all Zoho Books editions?
Yes. Zoho Books India (Standard, Professional, Premium, Elite, Ultimate), Zoho Books US/UAE/UK/Canada/AU (all tiers), and Zoho One bundled customers, all supported. Edition is auto-detected; the right field set syncs accordingly.
How are GST and TDS handled on Indian Zoho Books?
GSTIN, place-of-supply, HSN/SAC, IGST/CGST/SGST splits, e-invoicing IRN/QR, all preserved end-to-end. TDS section, rate, vendor PAN, challan and certificate references, all preserved. Your existing Zoho GST/TDS reports stay accurate.
What's the API rate limit story?
Zoho enforces ~5,000 API calls/day per organisation on most paid plans. OneFinOps batches and caches aggressively to stay well under that, typical usage is 500-1500 calls/day per organisation. Heavy migration loads get throttled (not failed) and complete overnight.
What if I want to leave Zoho Books later?
OneFinOps remains your operating layer. The connector exports your full transaction history on demand (Excel / CSV / API), your data is portable. Migrating to Tally / SAP / NetSuite later? OneFinOps swaps the connector underneath; no UI re-training for your team.
Does the Zoho Books inventory sync work?
Yes. Items, item groups, taxes, units of measure and stock balances all sync. If you use Zoho Inventory alongside Zoho Books, that's also supported via a separate Zoho Inventory connector, both stay in sync with OneFinOps.
