Inventory Management | Live Stock Levels

Stock that updates the moment it moves.

Receipts, issues, transfers, BOM consumption and dispatches post to stock and the GL in the same transaction. The number you see at 11:47 AM is the number on the floor at 11:47 AM, not the close-of-day batch.

Stock Levels

How it works

From movement to dashboard, in milliseconds.

Step 01

Movement posts immediately

Every receipt, issue, transfer and adjustment posts to stock and to the GL in one transaction. No nightly batch, no end-of-day reconciliation.

Step 02

Per-warehouse, per-item, per-batch

Stock visibility at any granularity. Mumbai warehouse vs Bengaluru warehouse, raw material vs finished goods, batch B-2024-098 vs B-2024-099.

Step 03

Drill to the source

Click any stock number; the underlying movements surface (GRN-01284, transfer-T-0091, issue-IS-1207). Click any movement; the source bill, PO or work order opens.

Step 04

Reservations honoured live

Picked-but-not-shipped stock holds. Sales-order-promised stock blocks. Available-to-promise reflects the real position, not the gross stock.

Live Stock Levels FAQ

What buyers ask.

How fresh is the stock number?

It's the post-transaction value. The GRN posted at 11:47:02 is reflected in the stock number at 11:47:03. No nightly batch, no caching window. The dashboard shows the position as of the last completed movement.

Can two people post different movements at the same time?

Yes. Concurrent posting is supported with row-level locking on the item-warehouse-batch combination. The second posting waits for the first to commit, then posts against the updated stock. No double-counting, no lost updates.

How do reservations work for picked-but-not-shipped orders?

Sales orders reserve stock at allocation. Picked stock holds against the dispatch. Available-to-promise (ATP) reflects gross stock minus reservations. The CFO and the sales team see the same number.

Can we drill from a stock number to a Tally voucher?

Yes. Where the bidirectional Tally sync is on, the source voucher in Tally is one click from the OneFinOps movement. Audit trail crosses both systems.

Connect one warehouse. See live stock by tomorrow.

Free trial, one warehouse. Post a receipt, a transfer, a dispatch. Watch the dashboard update in real time. Drill from any number to its source.
