Item Master Software | Barcode Management

EAN, UPC, QR. One catalog, every code.

Barcode generation per SKU (EAN-13, UPC-A, Code 128, QR for variant or batch). Print sheets for retail labelling. Scan at receipt, transfer, dispatch and POS. One scan, the right item; no typing, no drift.

Barcode Management

How it works

From SKU master to scanned transaction.

Step 01

Barcode generated per SKU

EAN-13, UPC-A, Code 128 or QR generated per item. Batch and serial encoded into QR for traceable items.

Step 02

Print sheets configured

Standard label sheet templates (Avery formats, custom). Print bulk for receipts; print on demand at the warehouse.

Step 03

Scan at every movement

Hand-held scanner at receipt, transfer, dispatch. POS scan at retail. The scan resolves to the SKU; the transaction posts.

Step 04

Audit trail per scan

Each scan captures the user, location, timestamp and source document. The audit trail is queryable per SKU.

Compliance + integrations

Barcodes that integrate, not just print.

Most barcode software prints labels. OneFinOps integrates the scan into every transaction. The audit trail makes the scan a tracked event, not a UI shortcut.

Regulations we work within

  • GS1 India

    EAN-13 and UPC-A aligned with GS1 standards.

  • CDSCO (pharma)

QR for traceable items per pharma regulations.

Connects to

  • Hand-held scanners USB / Bluetooth standard scanners
  • POS systems POS scan integration
  • Label printers Avery / Zebra / TSC formats

Barcode Management FAQ

What buyers ask.

GS1 India barcode registration. Is that needed?

For products sold through retail channels (modern trade, e-commerce), GS1-issued EAN codes are typically required. The system supports both internally-generated codes (for internal use) and GS1-registered codes (for retail compliance). Both can coexist per item.

QR for traceable items. What information is encoded?

For batch-traceable items, the QR encodes SKU + batch number + manufacture date + expiry. For serial-traceable items, it encodes SKU + serial. Customers scanning the QR get the warranty status (where the integration is active).

Mobile scan for the warehouse team?

Yes. The mobile app on iOS / Android scans barcodes via the device camera. Bluetooth scanners are supported for higher-volume scanning. The scan posts the same way as a desktop hand-held scan.

Generate barcodes for 50 items. Print a sheet, scan a receipt.

Free trial, one warehouse. Generate codes for 50 SKUs. Print one sheet of labels. Scan a sample receipt. Watch the SKU resolve, the GRN post, the trail capture in real time.
